San Mateo Co. Police Saturation Ongoing Through Monday Afternoon
Police from around San Mateo County are being deployed Monday to patrol for traffic violations such as speeding and distracted driving.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Police from around San Mateo County are patrolling parts of the Peninsula for possible traffic safety violations through 4 p.m. Monday, the Burlingame police department said.
The saturation patrol is taking place in Colma, Daly City and Brisbane, and began at 8 a.m. Police expect to enforce violations such as distracted driving and speeding, officials said.
The saturation involves 25 traffic officers from police and sheriff's departments around the county. It is the eleventh such deployment in San Mateo County this year.
