Celebrate on June 14th! Yesterday the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors issued a Pride Month Proclamation for San Mateo County, as well as voting to establish the states first LGBT Commission.
The volunteer commission will review and advise the Supervisors on matters of interest to the LGBT Community. Thank you to the Board for taking this proactive step in helping assure all voices have a place at the table of representative government. Applications for seats on the Commission have not yet been issued but will be posted on the Commissions page of the Board of Supervisors sometime soon.
