Fresh and Easy Summer Street Fair
Fresh & Easy Street Fair & Food Truck is coming to Pacifica, bringing FREE food to your neighborhood. Among the FREE samples will be five items, including: the Southwest Chicken Tacos, Spicy Soyrizo Tacos, Thai Turkey Lettuce Wraps, Tangy Bleu Cheese Sliders and Mango Carnitas Stuffed Peppers. Recipes and picnic tables will also be available for neighbors to enjoy along with musical acts, massage therapists and nutritionists. At Fresh & Easy, 5550 Pacific Coast Hwy., Pacifica.

Join the Pacifica Beach Coalition from 9 to 11 a.m. at the north parking lot in the corner by the Best Western hotel for a beach clean up. Bags and glove will be provided but bring your ow buckets and gloves if you have them.

Buckeye/Owl Canyon Hike
Docent led hike through two beautiful canyons of San Bruno Mountain. Hosted by Mountain Watch, a stewardship group expanding and preserving the native ecosystems of San Bruno Mountain. Bring water and a snack or lunch. Dress for varied weather. Free event. Meet in Brisbane.
Quarry Cove Art Gallery Exhibit
Check out the photography of Chuck Evans and the multi-media works of Cindy Chan. The closing reception for this exhibit is Saturday, Sept. 7, 2-4 p.m. This is your last chance to enjoy these works, and to meet with the artists. Refreshments will be served. The Quarry Cove Art Gallery is located at 255 Rockaway Beach Avenue between Avani Salon and the Chamber of Commerce.
Pacifica Performances' Big Band Swing Dance With Mojazz
The nine-piece house band, Mojazz, will be playing blues and R&B, some Motown and a special ska version of a Supremes tune to a dancing crowd with Pacifica Performances who just got their liquor license. Mojazz is well known for their big band sound. The Saturday night dance party starts at 7 p.m. with free dance lessons n 6-count swing, useful for swinging the blues and R&B. At Pacifica Performances Mildred Owen Concert Hall, 1220 Linda Mar Blvd. Tickets, available at the door, are $12 general, $10 members.
