'Spooktacular' Halloween Weather On Tap For Pacifica

As we head into Halloween week here on the Peninsula, weather forecasters are predicting a great outdoor setting for all those ghouls, goblins, fairies and other trick-or-treaters in your life.

"The Halloween forecast is expected to be spooktacular!" the National Weather Service says of this Tuesday in the Bay Area.

Dry, seasonal averages are expected through midweek — before the weather takes a wet turn later in the week, the NWS said in its forecast discussion on Monday.

"A significant change in the weather pattern is then likely late in the week that will bring widespread rainfall to the region through the upcoming weekend," forecasters said.

Here's the NWS Halloween weather forecast for Pacifica, along with what you can expect the rest of the week:

Monday Afternoon
Partly sunny, with a high near 60. Breezy, with a west wind around 22 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Monday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. West wind 16 to 21 mph decreasing to 7 to 12 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.

Halloween
Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 61. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 6 to 11 mph in the morning.

Halloween Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 52. Southwest wind 8 to 11 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 60. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming west northwest in the morning.
