Suspect Arrested, Victim ID'd in Gang-Related Shooting In Half Moon Bay

A suspect has been arrested in an apparently gang-related Half Moon Bay shooting that killed one person Saturday night, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
Felix Gardunovega, 21, was fatally shot around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the driveway of an apartment complex in the 400 block of Oak Avenue in Half Moon Bay, according to the sheriff’s office.
The shooting occurred after a confrontation with at least two suspects, officials said.

Detectives identified a suspect, who surrendered late Tuesday evening and was booked into the San Mateo County jail without bail.
The suspect’s identity is not being released at this time, however, to avoid jeopardizing an ongoing investigation, officials said.
