Two Hospitalized in Brisbane Warehouse Shooting, Police Say

Brisbane, CA — Two people were shot late Wednesday night after what appeared to be a warehouse party in Brisbane, according to police.

Police said a large gathering of people in a field near a building called "The Round House" in the unit block of Industrial Way was breaking up shortly before midnight when officers heard several gunshots.

Additional units from other jurisdictions were called out to assist, and police located two victims.

Both subjects were taken to the hospital, one with a shot to the arm, and the other with a shot to the torso, and police said they were expected to survive.

Police received conflicting reports on the shooting suspect other than it was a man, and he might have been black or Pacific Islander.

It is unknown if the shooting was random or targeted and police continue to investigate.
