VIA UNO Celebrates 1st Anniversary

VIA UNO Cucina Italiana & Bar celebrates 1st Anniversary on Wednesday, March 18th with live Latin Jazz by the Sandra Aran Trio.

(Half Moon Bay, CA) VIA UNO Cucina Italiana & Bar celebrates its 1st Anniversary on Wednesday, March 18th. Guests will enjoy live Latin jazz by the Sandra Aran Trio from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. A special menu will be available, as well as celebratory Prosecco and cake! All are invited, reservations are recommended.


In its first year in business, VIA UNO was voted “Best New Restaurant” in Half Moon Bay and received a rave write-up in the October 2014 issue of Sunset Magazine for its authentic mouth-watering cuisine featuring the regional specialties of southern Italy. VIA UNO was also awarded the Italian Academy of Cuisine’s symbol of authenticity, whose mission is to safeguard traditional Italian cuisine and improve and promote it in Italy and abroad.

VIA UNO is co-owned by Francesco D’Agostino of Half Moon Bay and Massimo Sarubbi, Burlingame resident and co-founder of Sapore Italiano on Burlingame Avenue, where he was co-owner for 13 years.

VIA UNO is located at 2810 Cabrillo Highway 1 North in Half Moon Bay and specializes in authentic flavors and uses local, fresh ingredients from farms along the coast and throughout the Bay Area. VIA UNO supports the slow-food movement and emphasizes the Italian way of eating. The restaurant’s authentic 6,000 pound wood-fired pizza was specially hand-made in Naples, Italy for VIA UNO and creates light-as-air pizzas in just over a minute.
