'Unseasonably Hot Temps' Bound For Pacifica: Record Highs Expected Around Bay Area

NWS officials are calling for a "rapid warming trend" around the region this week. Find out when temperatures will peak. (breaking)

PACIFICA, CA — Weather officials are warning Bay Area residents to prepare for some unseasonably hot weather in the coming days. The "rapid warming trend" is expected to peak on Tuesday, but temperatures will likely remain above normal through the end of the work week, "and perhaps into the weekend," according to the National Weather Service. Currently, it's expected to remain dry through Halloween.

As for Pacifica in particular, here's what you can expect weather-wise through Sunday:

Monday
Sunny, with a high near 75. East wind 7 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

Monday Night
Clear, with a low around 59. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east 11 to 16 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday
Sunny, with a high near 77. East wind 7 to 17 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.

Clear, with a low around 58. Northwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
