Victim in Fatal Pacifica DUI Crash ID'd as Bruce Bernor
Bernor was driving on Highway 1 when he was struck head-on by a suspected drunken driver driving the wrong way.

A crash victim killed by an allegedly drunk wrong-way driver Saturday evening in Pacifica was identified today as 54-year-old Pacifica resident Bruce Bernor, police said.

Bernor was driving north on U.S. Highway 1 at about 6:45 p.m. when a woman driving the wrong way crashed into him head-on, according to Pacifica police.
Both drivers were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Bernor was pronounced dead there and the other driver, identified as 41-year-old Daly City resident Ana Reepen, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter, police said.
