Whiskey Festival Bringing More Than 200 Tastings To SMC
The annual event will feature spirits from around the world, local distilleries and a VIP experience with rare pours.
HALF MOON BAY, CA — Whiskey lovers will have the chance to sample more than 200 spirits from around the world when Whiskies of the World returns to Half Moon Bay next month.
The tasting event is scheduled for Aug. 28 at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company and is part of the 13-city Heritage Fire & Whiskies of the World Tour.
Throughout the evening, guests can sample scotches, bourbons, Irish whiskeys, Japanese whiskies and craft spirits while meeting distillers and brand ambassadors to learn more about the products.

"The Peninsula's coast has a way of stopping people in their tracks — the cliffs, the fog rolling in, the sunsets," said Maggie Lang, chief sales and marketing officer for The San Francisco Peninsula. "We can't wait to welcome Whiskies of the World guests to Half Moon Bay, home to globally award-winning distilleries like woman-owned Jettywave Distillery and Half Moon Bay Distillery."
VIP ticket holders will receive early admission and access to exclusive tastings curated by Justin's House of Bourbon, including rare and vintage whiskeys not available during general admission.

General admission tickets are $109 and include unlimited tastings, culinary bites and a commemorative nosing glass. VIP tickets are $159 and include additional premium tastings and early entry.
