City National Bank Returns To Pacific Palisades After Wildfire Closure
City National Bank has reopened its Palisades Village branch.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — City National Bank has reopened its Palisades Village branch, restoring in-person banking services as residents and businesses continue rebuilding from the devastating Palisades Fire.
The bank announced the reopening Tuesday, saying the branch at 15273 W. Sunset Blvd. is again offering personal and business banking services after being displaced by the January 2025 fire.
City National had operated the Pacific Palisades branch for more than a decade before the fires forced its closure.

“Reopening our branch doors means welcoming back the neighbors, partners and business owners we've had the privilege of serving for years,” Lindsay Dunn, executive vice president and head of personal and business Banking, said in a statement.
Dunn said many clients lost homes or businesses in the fires and continue to face financial challenges tied to insurance claims, rebuilding and business needs.

“Having a local branch open again means they can sit down with us face-to-face when they need us most,” Dunn said.
The renovated 1,423-square-foot branch includes two private consultation rooms for personal banking and mortgage services, an ATM and three service desks. City National said the branch will also feature local artwork and decorative elements reflecting the Pacific Palisades community.
City National and its parent company, Royal Bank of Canada, said they donated a combined $3 million to wildfire relief efforts after the Southern California fires.
According to the bank, those efforts helped provide more than 2 million meals and more than 2 million hygiene kits, household items and baby essentials. The bank also said assistance helped provide temporary housing to more than 5,000 households and rental aid to more than 3,500 households.
The bank plans to hold special activities at the Palisades Village branch throughout October to mark the reopening.
The branch is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Its ATM is available 24 hours a day.
