Submission. Obedience. Sacrifice. Service. Life is pretty different for followers of Jesus, and somewhere between the ages of 18 and 25 we are often called upon to decide if that is, indeed, who we really want to be.
Led by Shawn Gendall - Calvary's Pastor of Student Ministries - the College Group was born just a few years ago as a response to this reality.
It has been said that "the correct perspective is to see following Christ...as the fulfillment of the highest human possibilities and as life on the highest plane." This is our prayer for you: that here - through community, connection, worship and teaching - you would indeed discover life on the highest plane.

The College Group is made up of people who have graduated high school and are now pursuing degrees, careers, or their next step in the journey. Whatever your status, we are overjoyed to invite you to the table. We meet as a large group every Sunday morning at 9:30am in Calvary's Fireside Room. We have coffee, a light breakfast, and a challenging talk through the Scriptures. During the week we meet in various locations as smaller groups, then often on weekends for social events and outreach projects. From a coffee shop in Malibu to the other edge of the globe, your participation in this community will allow you - we pray - to discover the wonder of Christ in you and power of Christ through you so that you might fulfill God's call on your life.
