Gelson's Plans To Reopen Palisades Store Destroyed In Fire
The upscale grocer announced it plans to rebuild its Pacific Palisades store.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Gelson's Markets plans to rebuild its Pacific Palisades store after it was destroyed in the Palisades Fire, the company announced this month.
The grocer intends to return to its longtime location at 15424 Sunset Blvd., near Sunset Boulevard and La Cruz Drive. A new sign recently erected on the property says "Still Palisades, Still Gelson's. Gelson's intends to rebuild in the Pacific Palisades. As we work through the necessary steps, we remain grateful for the continued support of the community."
The company has not yet finalized its redevelopment plan or indicated when the rebuilt store will open.

“Our Pacific Palisades store has long been a part of the fabric of this community,” CEO Ryan Adams said. “Its loss was deeply felt across our organization. Since our first store opened in Burbank in 1951, our commitment has always been to provide exceptional service and establish a genuine connection with the communities we call home. We will return in a way that reflects the resilience of the Palisades and our long-term investment there.”
