Getty Villa Cleared By Bomb Squad
The Villa will resume normal operations Thursday following a telephoned threat on Wednesday.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA - The Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades closed for the day after a threat was received by phone. The nature of the threat was not specified.
"We received a threatening call about the Getty Villa," museum representative Julie Jaskol said, but an LAPD bomb squad conducted "a thorough search" and found nothing.
The museum, located at 17985 Pacific Coast Highway, will resume normal operations Thursday.

The villa is one of two J. Paul Getty Museum locations and features collections of Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities.
