Hiker Airlifted From Renote Pacific Palisades Area
The Los Angeles Fire Department rescued an injured 69-year-old man in a remote hiking area off Mulholland Drive.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Firefighters airlifted an injured 69-year-old hiker from a remote Pacific Palisades hiking area over the weekend.
It was the second time in less than two weeks that authorities rescued a senior hiker in the canyons around Pacific Palisades.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a request for medical assistance shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday in the 19601 block of Mulholland Drive.

"LAFD Air Operations safely hoisted the patient and transported (him) to an area hospital," said fire department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Authorities did not release further information about the hiker's condition.
