Injured Hiker Airlifted Out of Topanga State Park Pacific Palisades
The woman, who suffered from a leg injury — possibly to her knee — was flown by helicopter to UCLA Medical Center.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A 53-year-old woman was airlifted from a hiking trail in Topanga State Park on Sunday and taken to a hospital in serious condition, authorities said.
Just before 3 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to 18000 Vereda De La Montura near Santa Ynez Falls trail in Pacific Palisades, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The woman, who suffered from a leg injury -- possibly to her knee -- was flown by helicopter to UCLA Medical Center, Scott said.
