Where to Hear About Several Ballot Initiatives Headed for November
An event at the Pacific Palisades Library Community Room will focus on three propositions.

AN EVENING OF DISCUSSION OF SELECTED PROPOSITIONS on the Nov. 4 ballot, sponsored by the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club.
• Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
• Pacific Palisades Library Community Room
Prop 1 - The Water Quality, Supply and Infrastructure Improvement Act
• Would authorize $7.2 billion in general obligation funds for state water infrastructure projects
Prop 45 - Insurance Companies Required to Justify Their Rates to the Public Initiative
• Requires Insurance companies to justify rate increases by the California Insurance Commissioners. This policy applies to all forms of insurance
Prop 46 - Increase in Cap on Medical Malpractice Lawsuits Initiative and Drugs Testing of Doctors
• Increases the cap on damages that can be assessed in medical negligence lawsuits to over $1 million
