17th Annual Rancho Mirage Art Affaire Announced

From The City of Rancho Mirage: The City of Rancho Mirage, along with the Parks and Trails Commission, is proud to present one of the City's signature events, Art Affaire!
Each November, the Rancho Mirage Art Affaire kicks off the art festival season in the Palm Springs Valley. This year's event, celebrating its 17th year, will be held on Saturday, November 4th and Sunday, November 5th from 9am to 5pm daily at the Rancho Mirage Community Park located at 71560 San Jacinto Drive. As always, this event is free to the public and free parking is available near the venue as space permits.
Over 90 juried artists, primarily from the Southwest, will display their artwork in colorful booths located throughout the beautiful grounds of the park. Artwork including ceramics, sculptures, textiles, glasswork, watercolor and oil paintings, metalwork, mixed media, jewelry and more will all be available for purchase.

Plan to make it a day at the Rancho Mirage Art Affaire and enjoy lunch at the park, where food, soft drinks, water and adult beverages will available for purchase from local Rancho Mirage restaurants.
Free smooth jazz concerts will be presented by Marker Broadcasting each day of the Art Affaire in the park's state-of-the-art amphitheater.
On Saturday, November 4th, local teen smooth jazz saxophonist, Chase Huna will once again open up the 2017 Art Affaire at 2 p.m. followed by The Lao Tizer Band at 4 p.m.
Local R and B band, The Smooth Brothers will get the party started, or rather, keep the party going at Art Affaire beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 5 followed by José Neto Band at 4 p.m

Amphitheater seating will be provided on a first come, first serve basis and blankets and lawn chairs will be permitted within the venue. Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the amphitheater. Coolers, outside food/beverages, pets, and smoking are not permitted inside the amphitheater.
