4 People Arrested In Palm Desert Burglary Investigation
The arrests came following a reported retail theft Tuesday night in the 72-300 block of Highway 111.

PALM DESERT, CA — A commercial burglary this week in Palm Desert led to the arrests of four people, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced.
The arrestees were Sarah Cantu, 32, of Desert Hot Springs; Phillipe Gonzalez, 35, of Indio; Devon Montoya, 26, of Indio; and Jose Perez, 39, of Indio, according to the sheriff's department.
The arrests came following a reported retail theft Tuesday night in the 72-300 block of Highway 111.

When deputies arrived on scene at approximately 7:19 p.m., the alleged thieves were gone but a broadcast of the suspect vehicle was announced and later found a short distance away from the crime scene, according to the sheriff's department.
As deputies approached the vehicle, one of the suspects fled on foot but he was quickly captured. The other three did not attempt to flee, according to the department.

The four suspects were booked into Indio's John Benoit Detention Center on suspicion of commercial burglary and conspiracy, the department reported.
