5 Big-Name Concerts Landing At Acrisure Arena In Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS, CA — The new Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs announced Tuesday its inaugural lineup of musical artists set to perform when the $300 million venue opens in December.

The Doobie Brothers lead the list with a concert scheduled on Dec. 15; regional Mexican band Grupo Firme follows on Dec. 16; Maroon 5 is slated to perform on Dec. 31; the Eagles will hit the stage on Jan. 18; and Jimmy Buffett is set to perform, but his concert date is to be determined, according to Acrisure Arena officials.

“The programming team at Acrisure Arena is giving Riverside County, Coachella Valley, and all of Southern California a new destination for the biggest concerts with today’s announcement of these five superstar shows. We are excited to go on sale over the coming weeks as we move toward our December opening,” said Tim Leiweke, chairman and CEO, Oak View Group.

Tickets for Grupo Firme will go on sale on at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23 via https://www.Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for the other concerts will go on sale at a later date and will be announced on AcrisureArena.com, according to arena officials.

Acrisure Arena also announced its Concert Access Membership program. Concert Access seating guarantees Firebirds hockey Season ticket holders the ability to purchase seats in Acrisure Arena for all concerts and family shows, even for sold-out shows, according to arena officials.
