Officers responded to a report of a generator theft on Friday. They learned that a generator along with its attached trailer was stolen that morning, and later identified the suspect and his vehicle in the 13000 block of Little Morongo Road, authorities said.
A search warrant was served at the address, and authorities seized the generator, along with four stolen vehicles, stolen tools, a commercial air conditioning unit, a firearm, ammunition, and narcotics, police said.
Moore was taken into custody without incident on Overture Drive in Palm Springs during a traffic stop.
