• Local former tennis athlete gives back to his community through coaching (kesq.com) — A former Indio High School tennis player who later competed for College of the Desert is now coaching full-time at Palm Valley Country Club, TTC Palms at Shadow Mountain Resort, and Xavier College Prep, mentoring young players across the Coachella Valley. He's working to expand tennis opportunities and bring more tournaments to the area so local kids can advance in the sport without leaving the valley.
