Art Of Dr. Seuss And Other Animation Legends Returns To El Paseo
The Chuck Jones Gallery opened its seasonal pop-up gallery Tuesday

PALM DESERT, CA — Fans of American popular culture will want to consider a visit to the Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert following the announcement this week that the Chuck Jones Gallery has opened its seasonal pop-up gallery in the shopping and dining complex.
The gallery is sharing a selection of artworks from The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection. Visitors can explore and acquire works from the author's best-known children’s books, as well as The Secret
Art of Dr. Seuss, a collection based on decades of artwork that Suess created at night for his own personal pleasure.
Additionally, the gallery is exhibiting and selling the work of its namesake — animation legend, Chuck Jones, who was best known for his work with Warner Bros. Cartoons on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series.

"The Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert is truly the perfect location for our annual seasonal gallery," said Michael Fiacco, director of special exhibitions for the Chuck Jones Galleries. "El Paseo is a world-class art gallery destination. And locals and visitors alike especially love the fun, whimsical Pop Art that we offer. It makes people smile and evokes happy memories."

This year marks the Chuck Jones Gallery's fifth consecutive season at the Gardens, Fiacco said.
The gallery was co-founded in 1991 in Corona del Mar by Jones, who was a four-time Academy Award winner, and his daughter Linda Jones Clough. He was a classically trained artist and graduate of Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles. He went on to become the creator of such immortal Looney Tunes characters as Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, and he was one of the fathers of the iconic Bugs Bunny, according to his bio.
"The Chuck Jones Gallery is a family-owned business and everyone, from our art consultants to our back-of-the-house staff share in that closeness," said Craig Kausen, president of Linda Jones Enterprises, the owner of the gallery and Chuck Jones’s grandson. "It’s important that everyone who walks through our doors feels like they’ve come home. Our gallery walls are full of good memories, laughter, a few bittersweet moments, and much happiness, just as your home is."
Chuck Jones galleries are also located in San Diego, Costa Mesa, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The pop-up Chuck Jones Gallery at the Gardens on El Paseo is located in suite 1126 and is open every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Mondays by appointment through April 4.
