Bob 'Ski Nose' Hope Golf Cart: Desert Photo Of The Week
Only one person in history fits this fairway transport, on view at the weekend's CareerBuilder Challenge in La Quinta.

LA QUINTA, CA – The one-of-a-kind Bob Hope golf cart made an appearance at this weekend's CareerBuilder Challenge in La Quinta. Designed for iconic entertainer Hope by George Barris, the late custom car maker who also created the Batmobile, the cart, to be sure, commands stops, stares and smiles.
"Hope's cart had his infamous ski jump nose and prominent chin, but it also was way ahead of its time in terms of accoutrements. It featured a TV, a tape deck and a rear-mounted camera so that Hope could film his swing," according to Golf Digest.
Youngsters in attendance at the CareerBuilder tournament, formerly known as the Bob Hope Classic, may not remember Hope and his rapid-fire, comedic wit, but they will be hard-pressed to forget his signature links transportation.
