The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival Is Around the Corner

Taking place February 17-26, the 66th annual Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is raking in the new year with new headliners and special promotions.

The star-studded line-up this year includes country music sensation LeAnn Rimes on Saturday the 18th, up-and-coming boy band Hot Chelle Rae on Friday the 24th, and award-winning recording artist Uncle Kracker on Saturday the 25th.

This year, mid-week entertainment provides fairgoers the opportunity to go back in time with a tribute to Don Henley & the Eagles, as well tributes to Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack.

On the Opening Friday, February 17, the public will be able to get into the fairgrounds for free during the first five hours (10 a.m.-3 p.m.). On Tuesday, February 21, free admission will be granted to those who present proof of purchase from O’Reilly Auto Parts at the entrance gate. All purchases must be a minimum of $5 within the month of February 2012.

Kids' Day is on Wednesday, February 22, where each paid adult admission can get one child into the Fair at no charge. Fantasy $5 Friday, Friday the 24th, is when the sponsor of the Fair, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, gives back to the community by creating an entire day for all fairgoers to get into the Fair for just $5.00.
