PALM DESERT, CA – The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is returning to the Empire Polo Club fields for two weekends in a row on April 12-14 and April 19-21. If you're looking for something extra to make your Coachella experience special, there will be plenty of events happening before, during and after the festival both weekends.

Female First Fest
When: Friday, April 12 from noon to 6 p.m.
Where: The Shops @ Thirteen Forty Five, 1345 N Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92262
What: Shop and sip some amazing female- and ethically-owned brands like Dazey LA and P.S. Style, among others. There will be free drinks, a photo booth, a female DJ and more.
Framework Presents: Rhonda INTL Queen of the Desert

What: Legendary poly-sexual dance party A Club Called Rhonda + Framework Presents is bringing back Rhonda Queen of the Desert this year - inviting techno icon Nina Kravitz + DJ and renowned fashion designer Virgil Abloh

Desert Gold 2019 at Ace Hotel and Swim Club
When: April 11-22
Where: Ace Hotel and Swim Club, 701 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264
What: Weekend 1: features the debut of the Mr. Good Boy record cart, located in our lobby 24/7 to provide convenient access to music you can take home with you. On Thursday evening, longtime partners and party wizards The Do-Over kick-off the festival with DJs Dave Nada, Tittsworth, Haycock & Strong. Saturday night, the Mattson 2 and special guest DJs will bring a marvel of psych-jazz orchestration and arrangement to the Amigo Room, our on-site bar. On Saturday, Jónsi (of Sigur Rós) and Julianna Barwick will be playing music poolside during the day and in the Amigo Room at night. At 10pm on the Stargazing Deck, the musical compositions in QUARTET are generated by the electronic impulses produced by four plants. Rounding out the weekend, Jonsi, Julianna and friends will be back for nighttime and daytime DJ sets.
Weekend 2: The transcendent detox continues for Weekend 2 and kicks off on Friday with daytime poolside DJ sets by Diva Dompé and melts into an evening of special guests in the Amigo Room till late night. On Saturday, Leaving Records curates the music followed by a night of guided meditation by musician Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. At midnight, the musical compositions in QUARTET — generated by the electronic impulses produced by four plants — are presented in part by Moog, Data Garden & dublab. On Sunday, Mary Lattimore takes the Stargazing deck with harp music transmitted underwater in the swimming pool. The weekend winds down on Earth Day with music from Carlos Niño, Kyle Simon, Mary Latim.

Prism Boutique Desert House Festival Pop-Up

Desert Jam: Lucky Brand x Rolling Stone Live
When: April 13 at noon
Where: Arrive Hotel, 1551 N Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92262
What: Lucky Brand will be hosting their 3rd Annual Desert Jam this year on April 13th in collaboration with Rolling Stone Live. The event will feature musical performances by X Ambassadors, Drax Project, Ama Lou, Palm Springsteen, and a DJ set by Jax Jones.
The event is open to the public with an RSVP.
Cupcake Frozie Factory
Cupcake is returning as the official wine sponsor of the festival, and they’ll be introducing two can’t-miss treats:
- The First-ever Frozie (or frozen selfie): a one-of-a-kind frosé drink personalized with your selfie printed on whipped foam atop two delicious flavors: Rosé or Sauvignon Blanc Bellini. Available at the Cupcake Vineyards Frozie Factory.
- New Cupcake Wine in Cans: This April, Cupcake is launching new portable, easy-to-chill cans for the first time. Cans will be available on the festival grounds.
Ardy Party
When: Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What: A pool party with Dirtybird’s Ardalan and the Desert Hearts Crew, including Mikey Lino and Lee Reynolds.
