INDIO, CA — Coachella will pay over $100,000 to the city of Indio, where the festival is held, after violating curfew each night of its first weekend, according to TMZ.

The $117,000 payment will go toward the city’s general fund to support its operating costs, TMZ reported, noting the curfews for Coachella were 1 a.m. for Friday and Saturday and midnight for Sunday.

A tweet posted about 12:30 a.m. Monday showed a video of Frank Ocean telling his audience at the festival, “Guys, I’m told it’s curfew, so that’s the end of the show.” His announcement was met with groans and objections from the crowd. The Twitter user who posted the video, futuro, noted Ocean started his performance an hour late.
