Are you looking for a change in your career? College of the Desert’s Partnership and Community Education (PaCE) program is offering training in clinical medical assisting. The session begins March 16, 2015.
The program will train students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical responsibilities of a medical office. Learn about phlebotomy, pharmacology, proper use and administration of medications, taking and documenting vital signs, cardiology including proper lead placements, and more. Tuition is $2,599 and includes all materials, 140 hours of classroom training and 160 hours of clinical externship. Payment plans are available. The course is held at PaCE located on the lower level in the Westfield Mall, 72840 Highway 111, Palm Desert.
