College of the Desert Seeks Employers for Career and Job Fair

From College of the Desert: The College of the Desert’s (COD) Career Center will sponsor its annual Career and Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in the Hilb Building on COD’s Palm Desert Campus.

More than 30 Coachella Valley employers have signed up to provide employment information to students, but more employers are welcome to participate.

Register at CODjobHUB.com. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participating employers. The cost is $100 for businesses and $50 for nonprofit organizations. Employers may accept resumes and hold employment interviews at the fair.

Some of the companies that will be represented include: Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Farmers Insurance, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Robert Half, Panda Express, Ace Hotel & Swim Club, Spates Fabricators, Most Valuable Publications, Vistana Signature Experiences, T-Mobile US, JW Marriott Desert Springs, Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, Childcare Careers, PFS Investments Inc., Young Interventions, Inc., Staff Pro, Riviera Resort, Entravision Palm Springs, Alpha Media, Acqua California Bistro, Solar City, AVSU, Father’s Heart Ranch, The Annenberg Foundation, Camp Ronald McDonald, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Mirus Secondary School, Goldenvoice, and Idyllwild Arts Summer Program.

This is an opportunity for COD students to explore a variety of careers in the Coachella Valley. Some employers will showcase specific careers even if they don’t have jobs to offer at the moment.
