College of the Desert Offering EMT Class
The nine-week, 120-hour course will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Westfield Palm Desert mall.
College of the Desert's Partnership and Community Education program will begin offering a new emergency medical technician training class tonight.
The nine-week, 120-hour course will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 to 10:30 p.m. at 's Partnership and Community Education facility at the mall.
The class will be led by veteran EMT instructor Carol Giannini. Students must meet prerequisites, including a high school diploma or GED, no criminal record and certain physical requirements.
