Country Music Legend Martina McBride Coming To Desert

From Fantasy Springs Resort: Multiple Grammy nominee Martina McBride has sold over 18 million albums to date, including 20 Top 10 singles and six #1 hits. Rolling Stone Country proclaimed her the Petite Powerhouse and now she’s set to bring that power to The Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

Martina McBride is a four-time CMA Vocalist of the Year who released her debut album in 1991. She followed that up with her commercial breakthrough, the blockbuster album The Way That I Am, with its massive hits “My Baby Loves Me” and McBride’s signature song, “Independence Day”. In 1995, she released her follow up album Wild Angels with its Top Five hit, “Safe In The Arms Of Love”.

In all, Martina McBride has been awarded 14 Gold Records, nine Platinum honors, three Double Platinum Records, and two Triple Platinum Awards.Martina has also found success as an author. This fall Martina will release her second cookbook. She previously released her first book, Around the Table, a full-color illustrated collection of her favorite recipes, hosting tips, practical menu planning advice, and themed décor inspiration.

Martina McBride is also known for her humanitarian work. She was awarded the Covenant House Beacon of Hope Award and Music Business Association’s prestigious 2015 Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award for her philanthropic efforts on behalf of domestic violence.

Through her Team Music Is Love charity initiative, Martina partners with non-profit causes to help many of the towns she's performing in.
