CSUSB Palm Desert Holding Welcoming Ceremony

Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert campus will hold its inaugural welcome convocation next week for students, parents, faculty, staff and community members.

The Sept. 23 convocation at 5 p.m. in the Indian Wells Theater will be followed by a barbecue, according campus spokesman Mike Singer.

He said the purpose of the event is to “introduce academic tradition” to students, give them information about campus activities, and introduce the school’s new dean, Sharon Brown-Welty.
