Desert Sands Unified to Host Public Forums During Superintendent Search
One forum is planned at Palm Desert High School.

LA QUINTA, CA - The Desert Sands Unified School District this week announced a series of public forums to gather public opinion on its search for a new superintendent.
Forums will be held at four DSUSD campuses on Oct. 5, with community members invited to offer input on the search to replace outgoing Superintendent Gary Rutherford, who announced his retirement in July.

- Shadow Hills High School, 39225 Jefferson St., Indio, 5 p.m.
- La Quinta High School, 79255 Blackhawk Way, La Quinta, 5 p.m.
- Indio High School, 81750 Ave. 46, Indio, 7 p.m.
- Palm Desert High School, 74910 Aztec Road, Palm Desert, 7 p.m.
