Design Your Vision for Palm Springs

Help shape the future of Palm Springs and design your vision for the city!

Residents are invited to share their goals for Palm Springs and participate in the first in a series of community workshops related to the City’s General Plan Update. The Feb. 24 workshop will be held 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the Palm Springs Convention Center, 277 N.Avenida Caballeros in Primrose B. A Spanish language interpreter will be on site and available.

“This is the first step in updating the City’s General Plan, the primary document we use to guide where and how people live, work, play, and learn in Palm Springs,” according to Flinn Fagg, director of Planning Services.

The workshop will focus on four key priorities which include the following:

• Vision & Priorities

• Housing

• Circulation & Transportation

• Land Use

Residents will also be asked to complete an online survey, which is being prepared and will be available the day of the workshop on the City’s website at www.psgeneralplan.com. All input from the workshop and the survey will be reviewed by City Staff and provided to the General Plan Steering Committee for use in revising the City’s existing General Plan.
