Donald Trump: Wind Power "Destroyed" Palm Springs
The Donald tweeted that wind turbines have ruined Palm Springs and the desert
With wind power an essential part of the desert economy, you would think Donald Trump would understand the value. Instead, the New York-based businessman went to Twitter to say how the large turbines just make the desert "ugly".
“Ugly wind turbines have destroyed the entrance to Palm Springs, CA,” Trump tweeted. “These mon[s]trosities are ruining landscapes all over the globe—expensive & bad electric.”
According to palmsprings.com, the over 4000 wind turbines in the San Gorgonio Pass generate enough electricity energy to power the entire Coachella Valley.
