Education Authority to Present "21st Century Schools"
What skills will be needed in our changing world?

Palm Valley School is honored to host an informational presentation on “21st Century Schools,” Tuesday, October 28th at 7 p.m. in the Palm Valley School gymnasium (35525 Da Vall Dr., Rancho Mirage). The presentation is free and open to the public.
Patrick F. Bassett, President & Senior Consultant will presents a lecture on “21st Century Schools.” He will discuss what skills and values will be necessary for students to succeed and prosper in these turbulent and ever-changing times.

“Here at Palm Valley School we are always looking to the future,” said Robert Graves, Head of School at Palm Valley School. “It’s important to stay ahead of the curve in education in order to equip students with all the necessary skills for them to be successful in a world that is constantly changing.”

According to Bassett, research indicates there are six basic skills and values that will be expected and rewarded in this century. In his talk, Bassett addresses those skills and values along with the challenges we face as a society in meeting those essentials.
Bassett is a former teacher, school head and President of the National Association of Independent Schools.
