Elderly Man Dies from Injuries After He's Hit by Car
The man was struck by a vehicle in Cathedral City on Tuesday.

An 84-year-old man died after he was struck by a car while crossing at a Cathedral City intersection, a police sergeant said Wednesday.
The incident occurred at 5:48 a.m. Tuesday at Landau Boulevard and McCallum Way, said Cathedral City police Sgt. Dane Dickson.
There was no designated crosswalk where the man was walking, but “any intersection is a crosswalk,” Dickson said. It was dark at the intersection.
