The World Tetherball Association is pleased to announce the second annual World Tetherball Championship. The event is scheduled for Oct. 7-9 and features two venues of competition, an Open Competition for all ages and a Coachella Valley Elementary School Challenge.
The 2011 World Tetherball Champions’ School Challenge will feature ten students from each elementary school from all four Coachella Valley school districts. Participation in the school challenge will be earned, and will function as an incentive tool and reward for students, allowing them to enter a once-in-a-lifetime event, proudly representing their school.
One male and one female student from each grade (grades one through five) will be selected and student participation will be sponsored by local business partners, garnered by the World Tetherball Association.
