The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, recently named as one of the “Top 50 Restaurant Wine Lists in the U.S.” by Open Table, is offering an attractively priced Three Course Prix Fixe New Year’s Eve menu for $45, or with optional wine parings at each course for $60. “Our business is built around people dining affordably, having fun and enjoying themselves,” notes Ed Moore, 3rd Corner’s owner. “Our customers tell me they truly appreciate us offering a reasonably priced evening with good food and wine, especially on New Year’s Eve,” Moore adds.
3rd Corner’s Paris Cordon Bleu trained chef, Matt Smith, has created an innovative menu to kick off the New Year. The evening begins with Chicken Liver Mousse/Candied Pancetta, Frisse Salad and house made Date Focaccia or Lobster Bisque paired with a Buty, Beast, Riesling Wallula Vineyard, Horse Heaven Hills 2010. The second course follows with Rock Shrimp Stuffed Sole/French Lentils, Lobster Butter Sauce and Radish Salad with a Frank Family, Chardonnay, Napa Valley 2009 or Grilled Petite Tender/Horseradish Potato Puree, Wilted Spinach and Sautéed Mushrooms with Béarnaise Sauce with Tamber Bay, Rabicano, Red Blend, Yountville 2008. The evening ends with Brandy Spike Eggnog/Nutmeg Cream and Cardamom Chocolate Tarts or Chocolate Covered Strawberries and a Grahams Port 2003.
