Local stars pair up with professional dancers to show the Coachella Valley their moves, all to benefit client services at Desert AIDS Project. The sparkle begins with cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by the show at 7:30 p.m.
Star dancers performing include Kevin Bass, president of Coachella Valley Homecare; Elizabeth Beaubien, co-anchor of the KMIR-6 News; Nathan Clardy, Palm Springs firefighter; Dr. Rene Dell’Acqua of the Dell’Acqua Dental Studio; Jason Dibler, general manager of the ACE Hotel & Swim Club; Ron Duran, owner/instructor at Pilates Plus in Palm Springs; Ginger Jeffries, KESQ-3 chief meteorologist; and Jill Langham, Boomer in Bloom fitness expert.
Celebrity judges include Grammy-winner Thelma Houston, Emmy-winner Leslie Jordan ("The Help," "Will & Grace"), and Italo Elgueta ("High School Musical" 2 and 3) who is also a professional dancer featured on the ABC hit, “Dancing with the Stars.”
