Family YMCA Of The Desert Fundraising Campaign Begins

From the Family YMCA of the Desert: Family YMCA of the Desert will kick off their Annual Campaign with flair! What looks like a lofty goal for 5 short weeks will materialize into reality if our Board President, Davidi Compton and CEO, Paula Simonds have anything to say about it.

Yes folks, some of our valley’s well known, local community members and friends of the Y will work diligently to secure pledges to successfully get to the goal of $550,000. We are on it! Please join us in encouraging Honorary Chair, KESQ’s own Karen Devine, Major Gifts Chair, Walter Clark of Walter Clark Legal Group and our Community Gifts Chair, Patrick Klein of the Gardens on El Paseo. They will lead over 100 volunteers consisting of Y staff and Board of Directors who will tirelessly focus on securing pledges with our Y kids in mind bringing this campaign to its triumphant end.

Donors of $1600 or more will be honored at the Golden Circle dinner to be held at Wally’s Desert Turtle in April. This is a time honored event!
