Fireworks Alert: Indian Wells Display Planned

From the City of Palm Desert: Indian Wells Golf Resort will host an event on Friday, April 27, that includes an approximately 15-minute fireworks display scheduled to start at 9:50 p.m.

The fireworks could disturb pets in nearby neighborhoods, including some homes in Palm Desert.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) advises pet owners to keep their dogs and cats at home in a quiet, sheltered, and escape-proof area during fireworks displays. The City of Palm Desert encourages residents who live in affected areas to follow the SPCA’s advice and protect their pets.
