Fireworks Alert: Palm Desert Warns Of Multiple Upcoming Displays
There are events planned in the Palm Desert area on both Friday and Saturday.
From The City of Palm Desert:Fireworks displays are planned at multiple locations in Palm Desert and Indian Wells this weekend.
The first display is scheduled on Friday, November 9, at 9:30 p.m. with an approximately 10-minute display at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort.
On Saturday, November 10, Stone Eagle Golf Club will host an event that includes an approximately 15-minute display starting at 7:30 p.m.

A second display on Saturday, November 10, is scheduled at Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells starting at 8:30 p.m.
The weekend’s fireworks displays conclude on Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11, with an approximately 10-minute display at Bighorn Golf Club starting at 7:30 p.m.

The fireworks could disturb pets in nearby neighborhoods. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) advises pet owners to keep their dogs and cats at home in a quiet, sheltered, and escape-proof area during fireworks displays. The City of Palm Desert encourages residents who live in affected areas to follow the SPCA’s advice and protect their pets.
