Former PDHS Footballers Being Sought for Possible Big Game
Gridiron Alumni looks to re-capture the 'Big Game Rivalry' for former high school football players.

A Northern California company is looking to help former high school football players get back on the field for one more big game.
Gridiron Alumni is seeking former Palm Desert High football players to suit up one more time for a big 'rivalry game'. The company, which has mostly operating in the football-crazed southern states, is now trying to organize full contact, full pads, alumni football games in California for August and September.
According to Gridiron Alumni's Chris Hall, teams are being planned for Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio and other local high schools. There is no age limit for potential players, and the school that gets 30 players signed up first will have home field.

Of course, since the alumni games are one time events, the rules are slightly modified for player safety reasons "since we all have to go to work on Monday", Hall said.
Hall says the 'one more time' games also end up being a big community-based fund raising event for the competing schools.
