Free Fall Concerts Return to Civic Center Park Thursday
Civic Center Park will host free outdoor concerts this fall, starting Thursday October 5th at 6 p.m.

PALM DESERT, CA - From the City of Palm Desert: Enjoy cool evenings and hot licks at Civic Center Park this October with the return of Palm Desert’s free Fall Concerts in the Park featuring live music under the stars and taste tempting food truck treats.
The excitement kicks off at the Civic Center Park Amphitheater at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, with a performance by The Long Run – Experience The Eagles. Since its debut in 1999, this Los Angeles-based band has earned a reputation as the finest Eagles tribute show working today. Marked by lush vocal harmonies and exceptional musical accuracy, every performance invokes the Eagles’ unforgettable studio recordings combined with The Long Run's unique concert personality.
On stage from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday in October, Palm Desert’s Fall Concerts will feature a variety of talented musical acts designed to please music lovers of all ages and tastes. Other concert series performances include Americana/roots music from The Dustbowl Revival (October 12), 70s and 80s soft rock from Yachty by Nature (October 19), and hit R&B and pop tunes performed by AMFM (October 26). The City extends its thanks to the Desert Recreation District for its support of this year’s Fall Concert Series.

The kick off of Fall Concerts also means the return of food trucks to Civic Center Park. Concertgoers are encouraged to sample the trucks’ mouthwatering mobile culinary creations or bring picnic baskets along with their blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the shows. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
