Hood Bar and Restaurant Moves Down Street
The popular place is known for its cheap drink specials, neighborhood camaraderie and the biggest by-the-slice pizza options around.

The Hood Bar and Restaurant has become a popular choice for people looking for cheap drink specials, neighborhood bar-style noisy camaraderie and the biggest by-the-slice pizza options around.
Recently, the place outgrew its britches and moved a few blocks down Highway 111 from its original location to the building that used to house Cougars, and before that McCormicks.
This Thursday night, The Hood is throwing a dance party called IN THE MIXXX to celebrate its larger venue that boasts a great dance floor. The evening will feature two great DJs: Set Below Sea Level and Pedro Le Bass with music starting at 10 p.m. The vibe will be a movable feast of electronica, hip hop and punk beats.
The party is free and drink specials will be offered all night.
The new location address is 74-360 Highway 111.
For those who can't make it Thursday night, check the website for constantly shifting information on daily deals like Sunday's Bud Lite pitchers for $9 and a full event calendar of upcoming shows.
