La Quinta Celebrates 36th Birthday

Bring your family, friends and neighbors and help celebrate the City's 36th birthday on April 28.

From the City of Palm Desert: Bring your family, friends and neighbors and help celebrate the City’s 36th birthday on Saturday, April 28 starting at 9:00 a.m. Indulge in non-stop entertainment with special performances given by the talented youth performers from the Shining Stars Performing Arts Academy of La Quinta.

There will be plenty of fun activities for the kids including an Euro Bungee and a Bounce House. You won’t want to miss the Bicycle Rodeo presented by the La Quinta Police Department and the Desert Recreation District, as well as a firetruck on display from the La Quinta Fire Department. Snacks and refreshments will be available, plus lots of giveaways. The day is sponsored by La Quinta Rotary.

“The Annual La Quinta Birthday Celebration is a party for our residents to interact with neighbors, meet new friends, visit with businesses and first responders, and collectively enjoy our Gem of the Desert,” said City of La Quinta Mayor Linda Evans. “This event is about community unity, fellowship, sharing common interests and goals, as well as an appreciation for the quality of life we enjoy in La Quinta. It is our way of thanking the residents of La Quinta for being part of our City's past, present and future. Happy 36th La Quinta!”
