Living Desert to Offer 'Brew at the Zoo'

From Cord Media: The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens’ wildly popular Brew at the Zoo is on tap for Saturday, April 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Early bird tickets at reduced prices for the eighth annual event are still available.

More than 50 breweries and restaurants will be offering unlimited samples of premium craft beers, wine and food amidst the spectacular backdrop of The Living Desert’s wildlife and botanical gardens. New this year, guests can explore the animals of Africa including cheetahs, zebras, and warthogs.

Craft beer from some of the finest specialty breweries around will be served along with premium wines and non-alcoholic beverages to round out the libations. Attendees also will enjoy a culinary adventure of dishes ranging from Italian, Mexican and American to barbeque and desserts from some of the Coachella Valley’s top restaurants and caterers. The evening will feature several stages of live music and entertainment, as well as animal encounters throughout the grounds.

Brew at the Zoo is one of The Living Desert’s major fundraisers. By attending this annual event, participants will be “Saving Wildlife One Beer at a Time,” and supporting the mission of desert conservation through preservation, education and appreciation.

Brew at the Zoo is presented by MacLean Capital Advisors, and sponsored by Taste Catering, Augustine Casino, Heimark Distributing, Desert Moving Co., Wheaton World Wide Moving, Walter Clark Legal Group, American Cab, Trent Teigen & Associates, Whitewater Rock and Supply, Signature Party Rentals, Sis Jackson, Quest Events, Dasani, Ace Printing, and Locale Magazine.

Tickets include unlimited tastes of premium craft beers, wine and food. Now through 5 p.m. on April 1, pre-sale tickets are $70 for members, $75 non-members. A limited number of VIP Lounge tickets are available for $150 which includes early admission to the event at 6 p.m. and access to a VIP area and full bar. And new this year, VIP guests will have an interactive ‘play for fun’ gambling experience hosted by Augustine Casino. General admission tickets purchased at the door are $80 for members, $85 for non-members. Designated Driver tickets also are available for $45 and include unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages.
