'Love Boat's' Gavin MacLeod Among Upcoming Speakers at CSUSB Palm Desert
Full lineup announced Tuesday.

Gavin MacLeod of “The Love Boat,” county Foreign Trade Commission chief Tom Freeman and award-winning television producer Fern Field will be among the speakers and performers at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert campus over the next few months.
The Cal State University Associates’ 2014-2015 season starts Sept. 9 with a talk by Morgan Levine of Desert Adventures, the Palm Springs-based tour company that offers a look at local environments, Native Americans and water management.
Cal State University Associates is made up of campus supporters whose dues support scholarships. Members of the public can attend one evening free, campus spokesman Mike Singer said.

Here’s a rundown of the schedule:

-- Oct. 14, Jim Estes, Cal State finance faculty;
-- Nov. 12, Tom Freeman, Riverside County Foreign Trade commissioner;
-- Jan. 13, actor Gavin MacLeod;
-- Feb. 10, Cal State San Bernardino President Tomas Morales, and Palm Desert Campus Dean Sharon Brown-Welty;
-- March 10, Denise Wilson, Desert Jet;
-- April 14, Fern Field, “Monk” producer; and
-- May 12, The Lettermen vocal trio.
Each presentation starts at 7 p.m. in the campus’s Indian Wells Theater, with a social hour in the lobby that start at 6 p.m.
