Marie Osmond Set To Perform In Riverside County

The famed country singer, host, and author will perform at the Desert Symphony's 33rd anniversary gala at the Agua Caliente Resort Casino.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — Whether you’re a little bit country or a little bit rock ‘n’ roll, chances are you’ll be excited to hear that renowned singer and actor Marie Osmond is coming to Palm Desert.

Marie Osmond, a multiple gold and platinum-selling artist and Country Music Award winner, will perform at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage on March 9 at a gala celebration of The Desert Symphony’s 33rd anniversary. Founded in 1989, The Desert Symphony is a nonprofit focused on bringing the best musicians to the Coachella Valley. In addition to its annual gala, the symphony is well-known for its six seasonal pops concerts.

“We are thrilled to have Marie Osmond perform with the symphony,” Desert Symphony President Nancy Tapick said in a statement. “It’s going to be a magical evening celebrating the organization, the music, and just being back together again…The 33rd anniversary gala is our way of welcoming back and celebrating all those who continue to support us in these unprecedented times. And we are so happy to have Marie Osmond be part of that.”

She has produced numerous Billboard chart-topping singles and albums, and written three New York Times bestselling books. After she and her brother Donny finished their 11-year-residency at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, Osmond has toured the country performing symphonic shows.
